Thank you for visiting the website of Dr. Wong, Dr. Chang, Dr. Gandhi, Dr. Lapps Wert, Dr. Finn, Dr. Bruck, Dr. Ventura and Dr. Galeone. Our site provides important information about our practice that will help you become familiar with pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. Our office is committed to providing you with the highest quality of care. We will make every effort to ensure that your first visit with us is a comfortable and informative experience.

Pediatric Dentistry is the specialty of dentistry that focuses on the oral health of young people. After completing a four-year dental school curriculum, two to three additional years of rigorous training are required to become a pediatric dentist. The specialized program of study and hands-on experience prepares pediatric dentists to meet the needs of infants, children and adolescents, including persons with special health care needs.

Orthodontic problems require specialized care. Patients who have dental and facial irregularities should be cared for by an orthodontist. Our specific qualifications in the design, application and control of corrective appliances will bring teeth, lips, and jaws into proper alignment for optimal facial balance.

Our practice has the specialized equipment, facility, and staff to properly address today’s most demanding pediatric dental and orthodontic needs, in a warm and caring environment.

Open door policy:  We pride ourselves in our “open door” policy, and we invite you to stay with your child during the initial examination and other appointments if necessary. However, there might be times where the child may be more cooperative if they were to accompany our team member through the dental experience. Our purpose is to gain your child’s confidence and overcome apprehension.

A parent or legal guardian MUST be present at the first appointment.

In order to allow necessary space for the Doctor and Dental Team to provide outstanding care for your child, only one parent or guardian may accompany a patient into the operatory. Due to your child’s safety and the safety of our dental staff, we ask that siblings of patients remain in the reception area with an adult providing direct supervision. It is our belief that siblings who do not accompany patients have greater success in their own future dental appointments.

Please note that for liability reasons, our dental team is unable to supervise children in the reception area.

We are concerned about your child’s total health care. Good oral health is an important part of total health. Establishing us as your child’s Dental Home provides us the opportunity to implement preventive dental health habits that keep a child free from dental/oral disease. We focus on prevention, early detection and treatment of dental diseases, and keep current on the latest advances in dentistry for children.

Pleasant visits to the dental office promote the establishment of trust and confidence in your child that will last a lifetime. Our goal is to help all children feel good about visiting the dentist and teach them how to care for their teeth
