Pediatric Dentist in Lansdale, Harleysville, and Quakertown

Welcome to North Penn Pediatric Dental Associates

North Penn Pediatric Dental Associates has had the privilege of providing dental and orthodontic care for the children of our community for over forty-three years. Founded by Dr. Richard Galeone in 1972, the pediatric dental practice moved to its present location in the North Penn Medical Arts Center in 1979. With the addition of an adjoining suite in the late eighties, orthodontics was added to the practice.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry encourages parents and other care providers to help every child establish a Dental Home by 12 months of age. This helps to insure that your child’s oral health care is delivered in a comprehensive, continuously accessible and coordinated way. The Dental Home concept enhances our ability to assist children and their parents achieve optimum oral health care, beginning with the age one dental visit, as part of an overall health care foundation. Our doctors and staff invite you to select our practice as the dental home for your children. We are here to render caring, quality pediatric and adolescent dental care, promptly and professionally, in a pleasant and friendly environment.

Medical conditions can affect your child’s overall health, and that includes oral health. It is important that you share information about any illnesses, chronic conditions, medications, accidents or hospitalizations with us so that we may provide complete and appropriate care.

Early Childhood Tooth Decay

Our mission at North Penn Pediatric Dental Associates is to create a passion for good oral hygiene and visits to the dentist within each child we see. As we partner with your child as part of their dental health team, we seek to assist in establishing healthy patterns that can last a lifetime and significantly contribute to the health of their teeth. In addition to maintaining healthy habits at home, regular cleanings in our office will prevent early childhood tooth decay and lead to optimal oral health.

If you suspect that your child has cavities, or Early Childhood Cavities, we suggest that you read our web page on the subject. It will describe the possible causes of tooth decay and offer several suggestions on how to prevent or lessen future exposure to the most common of all childhood diseases.

Why A Pediatric Dentist?

Has your child ever begged you not to leave the dentist? Impossible you say? Not at our office. It could be our gentle touch and special way with kids. Our pediatric specialists and staff love children and are specially trained to put them at ease. At North Penn Pediatric Dental Associates, LLC, we teach your children the proper way to take care of their teeth and just as important, they learn that going to the dentist can be fun.

Orthodontics for Children

Orthodontics is the specialty of dentistry focused on the diagnosis and treatment of dental and associated facial irregularities. The results of orthodontic treatment can be dramatic — beautiful smiles, improved dental health and an enhanced quality of life for many people of all ages.

Rather than coordinating orthodontic treatments and appointments with your general dentist, you can sit back and indulge in the simple, convenient advantage we offer of comprehensive pediatric dental services, including orthodontics, all in one of our beautiful locations.
